Huh, seems early for garlic harvesting, no? I thought that was like an August or September crop.
Or do you just have so many that you just pick 'em whenever you feel like it? Because if so, 😍
I think I picked mine back in march
Hard neck might be later, but I think I pulled my soft neck in early July last year and I had waited too long, the papers had burst around the cloves. I've also heard of spring planting garlic, that may mature later?
Ah, the hard neck vs soft must be the difference. We were told by a **serious** garlic geek to harvest around August/September and plant in September/October.
