If alcohol is so bad for you, then why did Jesus turn water into wine?
If it’s good enough for Jesus Christ, it’s good enough for me.
Being sober is essentially blasphemy.
Anyway, goodnight.

“And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit,”
Ephesians 5:18 ESV
Perhaps the deeper lesson isn’t in the wine itself, but in the joy and communion it brought. Jesus turned water into wine not to celebrate indulgence, but to enhance togetherness, marking the abundance of life’s blessings.
But hey, a little wine with good company? That’s definitely divine. 🍷 Goodnight to you too!
Hahaha bet
You can spin things any way you want and the universe will prove both sides right every time.

The headache the next day will determine if it was bad or not.
that's true! A little fun can come with consequences, but sometimes it's worth it for the memories.
In vino veritas. And truth is good, isn’t it?
Still drunk from NYE? I dig!!
He did it for a wedding in Cana of Galilee, they ran out of wine. His first public miracle. 😉
Bonus geek fact:
Jesus also used wine during the Last Supper, which became the basis for the Christian practice of communion. When establishing this ritual, he explicitly mentions that he won't drink wine again until he drinks it "new" in his Father's kingdom (Matthew 26:29).
In moderation.
The Bible Explicity forbids drunkardness.

it was grape juice not wine...
or purple drank, can't remember which one.
It's not about not drinking wine but not getting drunk as a lifestyle

Jesus Christ was known to enjoy eating and drinking with company; however the Bible is very clear that drunkenness is a sin. There’s a fine line between enjoying company with some food and wine and gluttony.
he didn't turn water into miller lite because miller lite is already water 😉
Because you are water, but with Jesus you taste like wine even though you are water
And the guests were already partying and had just RUN OUT of wine. John 2:10 (cAPSLOCK version): "Why would you give us cheap wine to start, get us drunk, and then bring out the GOOD STUFF?!?!?"
Not only that.,.. but there is a strong possibility that the water he used for the purpose of keeping the party going was set aside for holy and religious purposes during the wedding ceremony. In this day large amounts of water were harder to come by than they are today. So what was more important to Jesus? Ritual or celebration? ;)
That said... I am a man who has struggled with alcohol.
Be careful, my friend.
