Dont know enough about it. With bitcoin/nostr getting my first zap set off a whole learning journey and I jumped in. I think I will get there with XMR. Would be cool to be able to zap XMR. Zapping is honestly an amazing onboarding experience for any digital currency.
Do you have a suggestion best way to start? I see Cake wallet mentioned.
Cake Wallet is one of the best XMR wallets. I think there was a Nostr bridge that lets people zap with XMR, too, but I'm not sure what the progress is.

Back when I tried it, wallets couldn't use localhost or 127.0.0.1. It may work with Cake Wallet now, but everyone would advise against it.
There is a relay that accepts XMR: https://github.com/pluja/nerostr
It only needs docker, so I may try setting one up 🤔
