Trying out Nostur. Is it possible to send custom zap amounts and zap comments when zapping notes?

I’ve never tried Nostur
I’ve used it a little but trying it out now to see how it compares to Damus and Plebstr. It has some nice features, but also is missing some things I like about the others.
Yes and no. I set my custom ⚡️ amount to 91, but 88 is the closest I got.
So far I’ve been testing it. I’ve sent 100 which is the minimum but gotten 50 so I think it’s possible
Does it just use the default zap amount each time? Or can you do a custom zap on each note? In several apps you can long press the zap button and it will let you set a custom amount that one time. 
Seems you have to turn off NWC (one-tap zaps) and then when you tap the zap button on a note it lets you set a custom amount and add a comment before you send it.

Replacing the zap amount slider and adding more customization has been on my todo list for a while, I’ll get to it soon 🙂
Awesome! 🔥 I’m really loving Nostur btw! I was using it off and on with a test account but now using with my main account and actually digging in its features. I’m really impressed with it! If you’re open to other suggestions, here are a couple other things that really stood out while using it:
- tapping the home button should take you to the top of the feed and refresh it for new posts
- need settings to enable/disable types of notifications (follows, likes, etc)
- need a way to view only new posts from your follows instead of all their replies.

Oh great to know! Sometimes the replies on certain threads get “noisy” and it’s hard to find what other people are posting. This helps a lot.
