One time I got on a plane with three rabbits, the flight attendants seemed to think that no rabbits is the normal amount on a flight.

I immediately burst into tears on the suggestion that they go into the hold, convinced they would die of fright. The flight attendant demanded we leave the plane then, and my man at the time looked at me and told me that I must stop crying and stay calm. He said, "I need to trust you to not act crazy, you trust me to handle everything ok?"

They escorted us to the exit where he demanded to speak to the captain. I stood in the open door, wind blowing in my hair, an army of flight attendants glaring at me. After a moment the pilot appeared. I don't even know what my man said, but he always got his way.

His energy had that quiet dominance. No one ever went against his will. It was like magic to me.

The captain agreed the flight attendants were being ridiculous and the rabbits were fine as long as I didn't let them out of the carrier. We were escorted back to our seats and given free drinks and apologies for the trouble.
