He just asked how to get rid of his old Windows/Mac system in favour of Linux.
Don't be too harsh with noobs even if they are Bitcoin OGs with expertise in other fields.
At least it explains why they don't recognise Monero (yet). Encourage them to learn how to use Linux and Haveno/RetoSwap over Bisq. It will lead them to Monero eventually.
Soooo Haveno... Guess I need to kick the tires on this and give it a spin.

Are the maintainers on nostr?
Haveno is the protocol and Retoswap is just a particular instance of Haveno (the only one that exists that I know of)
I don't think they're on Nostr, but Reto has a SimpleX group chat and both are on X
