Does anyone have a domain service provider that you like?

I use namecheap right now, but I always have problems linking my domain to a server

Interesting, I have all my domains on namecheap but I don't use their nameservers. I rather use Cloudflare

I’m not that well-versed on this side of things so I might be doing something wrong

Right now I am using Koyeb for my server to run my code

The problem I’m having is linking my domain name to the Koyeb server

So I get a Flattened CNAME value from Koyeb and put it into Namecheap as “ALIAS @ 123abc.Koyeb.com.” But it never resolved.

I haven’t used Cloudflare though, maybe I’ll look into that. I always thought Cloudflare was for file-storing, but seems like it’s capable of much more

Weird... ThePirateBay and Silk Road also had servers in Iceland...

I use namecheap; never had issues and their interface looks like it was built in 2004 which I appreciate

The 2004 interface that brings you comfort fills me with anxiety 😂

When you link your domains to the servers running your code, does it always work for you with like 10 minutes?

Having trouble linking it to the service I’m using, Koyeb

Probably something I’m doing wrong on my side though

I've tried to link my domain to Render and Koyeb (where I host my API and webpage) and I get similar errors

From each of their documentation:

"All applications and static sites hosted on Render come with fully managed and free TLS certificates. There is no setup and you don’t need to do anything at all; everything just works out of the box."

Any ideas?

AWS, dirt cheap and full control of zonefile

You can choose from:

Fast, Cheap, or Good

But you can only pick 2 of them.
