That’s strange, I haven’t seen any hand-wringing or pearl-clutching about toxic maximalism in the last couple of months. Oh right, I stopped using Twitter in December.
So either all the toxic maximalists stayed back on the bird app, or they moved here and magically transformed into happy, zappy, non-toxic plebs. It’s got to be either of those two options, nothing else.

Being surrounded by scammers certainly leads to toxicity. I’m glad we are here, building the tools and communities needed to advance and strengthen bitcoin. 🫂
Or maybe the accusations of toxicity were completely overblown
I'm a privacy nerd on the periphery of bitcoin. I found Twitter and Reddit horribly hostile spaces (actually got banned from the Reddit sub for asking an honest question haha). People here and on Telegram are far more open to good faith conversations.
