Are there any plans to increase #nostr #privacy?
Censorship resistant as a platform won’t help much in a long run.It is fairly easy to censor the person when identified. “Don’t use the DM” doesn’t really help much.

This should not be too difficult. say 15y prison sentence for expressing forbidden views.
Say the sentence is not executed under condition to keep quiet. Protocol cannot be censored. People can.

Oh ..I got you .. sorry for jumping the gun .. you mean you wanna post but you want to limit your posts to few people ..right ? Then post to your own relay and let the people you want to share with add your relay .. isn't that simple ?
At your relay , you can sure restrict access .. I am not sure though ! With NIP 96 , you will prolly have capability to set up your own media server too ..
What would you say the privacy issues on Nostr are? These are public notes but all you know about me is my public key and the information I have chosen to reveal in my public interactions, right? Can you know something else about me?
I am not the tech whizz but I guess the IP. Who you DM and when. Who do you follow?
True true, the social graph can be revealing if you follow and DM with people you know personally in the fiat world. The IP not so much. I mean the relays know your location if you're not using a VPN, which we all should. But the again you can choose your own relays.
