Spent some time spider crawling through the attic today to fix some wiring that had been chewed through by a squirrel and killed 2 of the switches in our bathroom.
I should've done it at like 8am when it was still a reasonable temperature, but I waited until around 4pm when it was like 110 degrees up there 😂
Also, just for the record; I hate fiberglass insulation. It's the devil...
But the switches are working again. 👍🏻

Don't worry I've been doing it for a long, long time. I appreciate the warning but I'm pretty careful and it's not my first rodeo. Worked construction for the better part of 12 years and then was crawling through peoples' attics to fix internet problems and run data lines through houses for a few years too.
I was also crawling around my attic in similar conditions pulling new wire for a 220v circuit to power a new asic. It's a hot and sweaty job.

Supposedly, cellulose insulation reduces issues with rodents and pests in the attic. We had a major rodent electrical issue and found quite a mess in the attic. Ended up pulling everything out and they blew in cellulose.

I hate the fibreglass. It seems to stick to my skin for days. Plus make sure you mask up. That shit in your lungs is awful.

Just got flashbacks of when I sucked all my cellulose out of my attic with a harbor freight dust collector. Redid electrical, sealed wall plates / gaps, stapled radiant barrier to roof and installed new insulation.
It was miserable… 😂 
I got a buddy, me and him do basically all the retarded projects together….but he absolutely refuses to help insulate anything lol
