Why #Amesthyst is resizing all the pictures with the same cloud server? Is this a way to "count" how many users are using actively your app Vitor? What a pity, don't try the app or at least, compile it yourself deleting this weird stuff like auto-translation and image resizing.

It does that as a stop gap measure from everyone uploading 25+ meg profile pictures and crashing the apps. It's way faster now. I enjoy the auto translate because I've been seeing a lot of international messages and amethyst makes it so fun to see these without painfully copying and pasting into a translator. I think it's all very groundbreaking stuff. If you don't like it, as you said you can fork it or make your own cause it's opensource.

Nostr can be a very heavy protocol when processing a lot of messages or profiles, I'm surprised gossip didn't work for you. It may be you just need to give it a little time to load it's local database cache and then it might go faster.

Anyway, it's fine to make your own but why get so angry at developers who are just opensourcing stuff? I look forward to hopefully you will opensource your client so we can have even more choices.

I am sorry for my rudeness It is because I started all debtes posibles even fork the project to audit it before these messages. Also the lack of documentacion and the lack of simplicity is a barrier. For being opensource not means it is good, also open source doesn't mean it will be good. It could be bad, abusive, insecure, or aiming activities or bad habits that doesn't deserve to be on descentralised and open domain protocols.

By the way I am running a public relay server and opening issues in all clients I tried. Also translating some crucial documentation and distributing it on public domain. What are yo doing? Concerning on each others notes about emotions or feelings? . I am being rude and I think I can speak as free as I need to express myself, my emotions, my philosophy. Other way if you don't like, you can unfollow. Cheers.

Forcing auto-translation is a kind of chauvinism I doesn't like. My mother language is galician,similar to portuguese, if I have your criteria with languages, I would not be able to be on here, express myself or debating these topics.

Another quiz is somebody is uploading a 25Mb banner possibly I will unfollow him. Best practices on social media need to be taken by users and not by servers or clients doing centralization for users because this way is not the spirit of public domain license.
