I just wish I could follow the install instructions. I haven’t been able to get this running given instructions I’ve found. Can you do a walkthrough to installing on a linux machine (Ubuntu or Debian)?

the instructions in the GitHub are pretty good, where is it failing for you?

I’ve since got it working. But I kept getting error when trying to start lightningd. “Error loading shared libraries: libpq.so.5: cannot open…”

Solved that by installing “libpq-dev”. But get new error about “libsodium.so.23”. Installed libsodium-dev and now it works.

Didn’t see any references to those dependencies in GitHub. Hope that is correct solution.

Oh. I was installing the binaries, not compiling myself.

Ubuntu 24.04.
