Gotcha, those are good reasons. Since these are public chats, so messages are intended to be public, do you think an IRC bridge would work? We could still switch to something more private for anything in DMs that must stay private.
Hi nostr:nprofile1qqsfy229w70e8lgtxavlz9t78k06yrel6fxyhreteafqet8kfxhhwmg2c6av2.
Any chance of extending #Greenlight support to Simplex, Matrix or a Mattermost? Thx.
What's the desired effect of adding more places to discuss?
For context: we are actually trying to consolidate support as few platforms as possible. More users sharing the same platform means that they can help each other, while more platforms splits the user base and creates more places our tiny team needs to monitor. We can add them, but ideally we'd then bridge them to the existing platforms. iirc matrix has telegram bridges for example, so that could be an option π€
I don't know why, but I have the feeling that protocols that require game theoretic arguments to be proven secure are inferior to protocols that don't. Collateral is always a red flag to me, as it implicitly opens up known and unknown pitfalls down the line. That doesn't mean game theoretic arguments don't have value, but I'd like to keep them as minimal as possible, nicely relegated to a few, very constrained cases. Just my own two cents.
We can't share that yet, but they'll tell the world once they're ready to announce π

That's trickle down check marks, where have I heard that before π€

Today we are extremely proud to open-source the #greenlight client repository as part of our Developer Previewπ±
Included are the client libraries, with bindings for python and JS, as well as all the tools to self-host a Greenlight node.
