It's really not that bad, it's like a different drink. Real coffee made by a non-binary is obviously way better. But it's also so expensive.

What instant are you on?

Whatever's a huge container for cheap 😂

3 or 4 grains of salt plus heavy cream and sugar, go go go!

God forbid this note gets seen.

I buy real coffee and own a French press. Please don't crucify me.

Salt??

Is this a secret strat? Not raeen that one come up 👀 I've seen adding cinnamon/nutmeg as a tip tho. As well as dissolving in cold water or milk first. I will try this. Unless youre joking lol

Seriously, I always add a tiny amount of salt to my coffee, instant or not. Salt is a flavour enhancer 💯

I will try this tomorrow. Join nostr. Get influenced.

Tiny amount! Like count the grains literally, don't give it a couple shakes 😂

If I die, I die.

You'll be to blame tho.

I guess the dose truly makes the poison. I once mistook salt for sugar in my coffee. Not pleasant. 🤢🪦

Oh yeah. Too much is no good. Salt water coffee 🤢 But it's the same if you over salt food 🤷‍♂️

May consider a second time 🤔

If you've ever had salted dark chocolate it's a similar idea👍

Respect. That’s not coffee, that’s a potion. One pinch of salt away from unlocking ancient wisdom. 🤣

It is ancient wisdom, it's my departed Grannies trick 🧂☕

Precisely my point

cute and potentially lindy ;)

My wife introduced me to adding the tiniest pinch of cinnamon to a basket of coffee grinds before brewing. It’s an old restaurant trick apparently. Almost imperceptible but the cinnamon (like salt) enhances the flavor.

Now I’m an #aeropress nerd. After 50 years, I’ve learned how to make black coffee that doesn’t taste like burned wood. The secret is the water temp and short brew time.

i will try the salt and cinnamon tricks separately with my instant, and then together

That's an interesting twist.

After having some middle eastern people make me Turkish coffee. I'm thinking about trying some cardamon spice too.

French press here, and I let the water cool slightly. Definitely gives a tastier brew.

You gotta press the French to get the truth out of 'em that's why they call it a French press.

Ah, the French!

I bit the bullet during Covid and bought an electric gooseneck temp controlled kettle. It has been a game changer. $60 well spent. Cafe Bustelo is my coffee of choice. Cheap and delicious.

Costco guy huh?

LFG
