nah, nostr wont grow if people come here to just talk about bitcoin. just the truth.
Everyone has different goals. Yours might not be the same as mine.

Big facts. We want people to know about freedom for everyone! It won’t appear that way to “normies” they’d just see people with similar interests to one another and think it’s all group think. Then bounce if they don’t care about Nostr nor Bitcoin. Twitter worked because people didn’t have to know crap about it for them to have a good time
This is true, and in principle, I agree with your original note.
At the same time, I’m reminded that the thing(s) that most people here are the most passionate about are in fact Bitcoin & Nostr, then there’s something good in the authenticity of posting the things you’re particularly excited about
Personally, one of the things about Bitcoin that I like so much, is how it relates to a huge range of “other” subjects. History, politics, finance/economics, human rights, game theory, philanthropy, technology, business, freedom, philosophy, math, privacy, computer science, culture, and the list goes on and on.
The “multidisciplinary” quality of it is precisely why I like and think (and talk 😉) about it quite a lot.
That’s also a main reason that I chose a career in/adjacent to wine. It touches so many other things, and there’s always more I can learn.
Of course, I also see your point. A hyper focused discussion can feel exclusionary, off-putting, or simply not interesting to a newcomer. But I guess I’d urge the newcomer to create spaces and social connections with other people who share their actual interests, or even build clients/tools that serve their own needs.
