Like the house or the city?
House is fine, city and whole state sucks.. How do I uproot my family that is fully integrated into schools and friends..
Time. Our last move wrecked the family but after some time everyone was much happier. I wish there was a shortcut but I don’t think that there is one.
What was so hard about it?
Leaving friends and familiarity behind. Thrust into a new different place where you don’t know anyone. I think the people aspect has more of an impact than location.
If you can get everyone to meet and make new friends quickly then acclamation happens much quicker. If they don’t then loneliness hits them and they will be miserable and miss the old place even if the new one is 10 times better.
Come to North Carolina
Not sure where u live. If I were a young techie, I’d be moving to the most red places in the country - especially after the last 4 yrs of Bullshit. And I’d be prepared to go anywhere in the world with some BTC in my brain.
I have a family so not so easy to move, but really missing Florida..
