It's interesting how that if you don't curse, it can make other people self-conscious about their own cursing. And then they probably think you're weird...

I have experienced the same thing.

I have had multiple people apologize for cussing in front of me lol. IDK why they think they have to, I am not a child 😂

I know, I start to feel awkward when they apologize to me for cursing! But I did use the opportunity to explain that I don't curse because I'm a Christian. But I added the caveat that I know there are lots of "Christians" who do curse...

Yep, I try not to. But it is hard.

Cursing is one thing I thank God he has not had to deliver me from, but I have other bad traits that he still has to cleanse me of.

You don't clean a fish before you catch it, you catch it and then clean it.

Cursing, so called, can often be a blessing.

In many ways it signals informality, that one is amiable and forthright.

Like all signals, it depends on the recipient.

I don’t typically curse unless I know the person and am comfortable cursing. It leads to other people apologizing when they curse in front of me. Which is funny to me because I curse a lot just not in public or around people I don’t know very well.

I don’t care if people curse in front of me but I also don’t understand why people curse so much

If everyone around you is doing something, and your not, they start resenting you. Doesn't matter if it's a positive or negative difference. To them abnormality is abnormality.
