Nostr gives your identity back. It doesn't necessarily give your data back.

For that, you need to operate a relay, even if it is just as a backup for the relays you actually use. Otherwise, things can just disappear.

Oh, someone should create a dedicated Nostr backup app on iOS (or your platform of choice) that loads your events from your relays and marks it for backup on iCloud (or whatever cloud provider) and allows you to export them.

Citrine does that on Android. But it's is manual for now.

Citrine + Pokey sends all your notifications to the relay as well. This one is automatic right now.

Oh, that’s right. I forgot about Citrine for Android. Having one on iOS would be great. Resisting the temptation to take on another app idea that I won’t finish building. 😅
