And still, I want the power to destroy myself!

I love the fact that the "f" in that string basically says, "yes I know, delete everything and its contents and don't ask me about it again."

I always refer to that option as the f you option, cause if used wrong that is just what it is telling you

I panic a little bit each time I read this command before hitting enter. I literally say out load, "measure twice, cut once". 😬

The correct command is ```rm -fr /*```

to rid all the French files

I always shift delete.

Happened to me once..

Never skip back up day 🤣

It's worse when I instinctively hit y afterwards and realize even my own safeguards don't help

A coworker was decomisioning some systems, pulling data off, removing directories as he went....

Sure enough he did a

rm -rf

In /

As root

Luckily the systems were mostly clean anyway, but, from his desk came the soft refrain "fu#k me!!"
