I watched a few videos on it a couple years back and tried to create a digital Zettelkasten system with Obsidian. Unfortunately, I spent more time developing the layouts, how the cards connected, etc than actually recording key data.
If I were to attempt Zettelkasten again in the future, I think I'd need to simply copy a simple template from someone and, perhaps, use paper cards instead.
The connections between notes is the key data 🤗
Writing down some thoughts, and then trying to simplify and pull out atomic units, connecting those, finding previous notes to connect the new ones to, leaving questions for yourself, etc - all that IS the process.
