When I was learning to play guitar and piano a phrase that came up often is "speed is a byproduct of accuracy"

You go as slow as you need to be accurate and the more consistent you become with accuracy the faster you can go.

This is really cool! Do you still play?

I find that phrase more than accurate as my children take up instruments. It’s years of that!

Oh yeah I play guitar almost every day, piano not as much anymore, but will get back into it when I have space for one. My oldest daughter is a drummer, and another one is considering audio engineering school.

Music is such a great lesson in self determination and patience.

Wow, that’s really great!

What are your kids learning to play?

If they had their way, nothing! But the ones in lessons are learning banjo, piano, and violin.

I like this, it’s not about moving fast, it’s about moving correctly ☺️
