So I've been waking up before 0300 and having trouble falling back asleep. I've taken a melatonin to help me fall back asleep, then I wake up so groggy and tired. Damned if I do and Damned if I don't... 🤷🏼♂️

Take the melatonin before you sleep ... around 10-ish
Don't have trouble falling asleep, just sometimes when I wake up I can't fall back asleep. I've heard it's not good to take melatonin all the time.
How’s the diet? Really affects sleep. I know once I cut out everything but red meat, cheese and eggs my sleep became perfect. I get tired at 1030. In bed by 11. Wake up every day at 6 am no alarm. And I sleep soundly through the night.
That's awesome, I'm not sure on the diet. But I'll look into it!
I’ve noticed when I stopped eating plants and cut out all sugar and processed grains my hormones started working optimally. One of the downstream effects was my sleep getting fully optimized on its own. Pretty crazy and something I didn’t expect.
