Marine Le Pen is coming
Planned chaos to justify a Digital ID for your “safety”. Don’t fall for this garbage.
But how big is it?
rioter burning thing every night since 4 nights
Molotov cocktails go brrrrr
It's simple, France is paying the price of decade-long misguided immigration policies.
For those understanding french, I recommend Idriss Aberkane's brilliant analysis. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGZxAErcOSU (summarised here: https://www.summarize.tech/www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGZxAErcOSU)
My humble opinion is based on my personal knowledge, given my sister lives in France for many years and I myself was born about 5 decades ago on the border in the North of France.
Contrary to what is believed outside France, the current unrest has nothing to do with the immigration policy of recent years, but with the poor integration policy for migrants over the last three to four decades. Unlike in the Netherlands, for example, where migrants are not housed in immigrant ghettos like the banlieues, but are mixed with the population, making integration easier. Previous governments were aware of the seriousness of the problem and promised to solve it, but they failed by always pushing the problem in front of them, hoping that the next government would already solve it. Le Pen and her party comrades, on the other hand, shamelessly exploit the immigration crisis with classic right-wing rhetoric, but without presenting realistic solutions. Le Pen and her ilk will never be able to solve the immigration crisis; in fact, they will exacerbate it on an unprecedented scale. These parties are the modern-day Pied Pipers of Hamelin.

Wow that’s way different than the messages from “news”
Thanks for sharing this information
Interesting, so you’re saying they’re basically facing some sort of segregation?
I think so
Simple. Police brutality led to civil unrest.
Everything else is bullshit sociology or party politics disguising as context.
Imigration policy meant to create a serious crisis in order to force dystopian societal reforms.
Likely to announce state of emergency/martial law tonight.
absolute nonsense since the people rioting are mostly second and even third generation migrants, or how people who are not rassist would call them: french citizens.
French citizens are pretty well organized when it comes to setting their own streets ablaze over a traffic stop gone wrong I guess. Armed and all.
Remember when they were also told their hard earned pensions would have to wait a couple more years and they disbanded the crooked regime in response? Yeah, me neither.
It's another manufactured crisis, mate - wake up, the government is about to introduce a solution in nobody's interest but its own.
if you think this is about a traffic stop 'gone wrong' (dude, they shot a boy at point blank, show some respect), you don't really understand the situation. the underlying issues date back to colonialism and yes, the actions of the state are at the core of the problem.
i agree, it's a manufactured crisis, but that doesn't mean the problems these people face are not real. there is actual social and racial segregation going on for decades, generations that have been denied equal access to society.
You are too emotional. Some years back other french citizens were brutally slain and shot - their peers didn't torch businesses and cars then either.
There's a pattern of supposedly victimized "groups/races" who get pretty quickly organized on the n-th police brutality against them.
I never said their problems weren't real - unfortunately what is the case with masses in any country is that they become too dependent on big gov or big corp, ending up as pawns for hidden agendas.
The biggest problem in France is the regime with its captured institutions. This, you might find is a theme almost everywhere.
You have no idea. Still you wrote a whole pamphlet on the topic.
Protests have taken place as far back I remember (early 80s) every time a racist cop killed a black or north african kid in france. And they turned violent about every fucking time.
Lately the violence has been getting worse. 3rd generation migrants are less peaceful than their grand parents. You could say patience has run out.
Do you believe the state and police are honestly having a hard time dealing with this mess and publicly communicating with each other by twitter and pressers?
Of course. French politicians are notoriously shit at dealing with social conflicts. Think "fighting fire with gasoline" shit. And yes their communication skills are terrible.
And french police is notoriously bad at remaining professional and proportionate. Regardless of who is protesting. Even more since they are already exhausted from the last social strife in feb-march.
The problem is how they can restore law and order before it gets worse (like in 2005) and without causing another violent death among teenagers. Which would start a new cycle.
Right, so you'll be happy with whatever solution the state introduces, as long as the organic, 3rd gen rioting and burnings stop. If you are not, you will just "voTe THeM oUT nEXt tiMe."
You are being conned, but to each his own I guess.
BLM riots 2023
the french police has been acting like a colonial occupation force in poor neighourhoods all over the country and people there are fed up and now basically fighting a war for liberation.
Eh, karma
Liberal politics as we can see.
