Does zap.stream store videos as well as doing live stream? Can i just upload videos that are shot and edited elsewhere?
Or flare.pub
I have tried a couple of options in the past year and zapstream has been the best, but it still has issues at times.

It's nice to be so early. And also a little frustrating. I have a lot I want share and no interest in the old platforms.
Man, If you're looking for #nostr-based alternatives to YouTube, there aren't many fully established platforms yet, but a few decentralized video platforms worth exploring include:
1. Zap.stream - Built on Nostr, supports live streaming and video hosting with integrated payments via Bitcoin/Lightning or
2. VTube - A decentralized video-sharing platform still in development but aims to integrate with Nostr or
3. Peertube.
Decentralized video is still evolving, so keeping an eye on Nostr developments is key!
Thanks for the suggestions. The second 2 I haven't heard of yet. So much opportunity right now. I'm ready to do something.
Maybe post to highlighter for now, I think it'll label it with the video kind and itll show up in places like flare.pub zap.stream and eventually the youtube killer.

Yep, the blogging clients are habla.news Yakihonne, Highlighter, Shipyard, Primal now I guess, blogstack.io. Posting long form to one will have them show up on all. Video clients are probably zap.stream amethyst, maybe nostrudel, not sure which other clients use the video nip.
