At my gate, watching a woman force masks on to her 3 children under 4, maybe 5. So many people like her are utterly broken by lockdowns, and they’re passing it on by force to their children.

Breaks my heart.
Still? Where do you live? In Germany COVID was officially ended today.
“COVID was officially ended today.” That phrase says it all.
I’m returning to the US from Mexico City.
The lockdown changed many of us. It was like a separation of time
No doubt, it did. But it falls to each individual to find a way to heal, or to at least cease harming those in our care.
I have zero sympathy for those who fail to do the latter.
Ofc, kids should experience a happy childhood. They didn’t choose to come, parents chose to have them so its on parents to provide the best care possible. I can’t disagree
Some people will never leave this behind. Incredibly sad
life is a balance
that poor lady should come to any hospital where the staff has gotten so shell-shocked over the past few years that they just zombie waltz into rooms containing communicable diseases (not just talking viral infections) without any protection anymore and then proceed to walk into other noninfectious rooms…
she wouldn’t like it
Regardless of the merits or glaring lack thereof of this mother’s choice, this is a weird shout from you. Sovereignty is for people who disagree with you, too. Not your kids; not your choice. Hodl your own family.
Sad. We've known from the beginning that the kids are not in serious danger.
