Don’t get me wrong I love Roya, perhaps she is just taking a break and will be back. 🫂
She’s not the first to be trolled or leave. It’s fucking saddening the amount of lovely humans that have come and left here I started over a year ago. This harassment, and hatred needs to stop.
Yes there has been a large amount of people that have left since I have been here, however to my knowledge it’s not from harassment or hate on Nostr.
Again I don’t see it, we at least not with the people I follow.
I’m not saying it doesn’t happen but if I did see anything like this I would step in.
I think the thing with relays is it's possible for people to have very different experiences of the same platform
This is very true, it’s easy to miss a lot here.
I get harassed every dam week pretty much here. I’ve just kept quiet about it publicly. Unfortunately just like real life or other parts of the web there will be assholes and trolls. We gotta rise above and stay strong.

Yeah it can be super annoying, but we can only control our own opinions and behaviors. Some people are just gonna be assholes and that’s what I feel, karma is for. You do pretty well at not getting on their level, I troll back pretty hard 🤦♀️
Definitely depends on my mood, but I try to be an adult and not fall into high school bullying tactics.
It can be annoying, saddening and depressing. I’ve been there it can get pretty dark.
But I ant gunna quit.

Fortunately I’ve been through hell and back learned a lot about rising above others bs, toxicity and negativity.
I am huge on only letting certain humans take my energy and am constantly trying to protect my energy.
Councelling helps, support humans in my life help, and self care keeps me going.
Yeah it’s a lot. I’ve gotten it too so I understand what it’s like in general, I just don’t know enough about this situation to really give good info.
Same I have been trolled and depending on my mood I will give it back to them or just mute them and move on.

Remembering the time you friended your troll 😂 even included them in conversations. Can't even remember who they are or what they said, but will never forget your response 👌🤌 Not taking a miserable person's trolling personally saves a lotta grief.
I left for 6 months and came back. It was definitely needed. Hopefully she can come back. She can take all the time she needs.
Dudes will stop being gross on nostr the same time they stop hollering at girls in gas station parking lots.
You know, I don’t take offence to that.
I remember a time when I was living in Europe and would be walking down a street and there was a few guys wolf whistling at me, that didn’t offend me at all! It actually gave me confidence and made me feel good, not that I need a man’s attention to feel like that but it was like a little boost.
Nowadays anything like that is cause for offence.
