why is Bitcoin violatile? Because it's a machine that is capable of taking the uncensored, permissionless inputs, productivity, thoughts and feelings of every person on earth 24 hours a day. Those inputs go into the machine and their net result is the price moving.

the world is an uncertain place filled with billions of people each with their own thoughts, feelings and productive capacity. If you expect that complex system to come to anything like consensus in the near term, I'd like to hear your thesis.

bitcoin is volatile because it is in the process of being monetized (and is decentralized, so it cant me ”managed”)

Among the billions of people capable of inputting into the decentralized, permissionless machine, the overwhelming majority of them are signalling in such a way that "it becomes monetized".

I suspect that will continue and accelerate (for obvious reasons).

Agree :)

Volatility is life. 🧡

Bitcoin now thoughts and feelings.

I didn't say Bitcoin has thoughts and feelings.

If you're going to reply to my notes with your takes, at least be in direct communication with the actual content of my writing.

All economies are results of the actions and thoughts of their participants.

I didn't say "has".

> [the] inputs, productivity, thoughts and feelings of every person on earth

I was referring to the actions and opinions of the people participating.

So am I.

Also why am I thinking you added the thoughts and feelings into the mix because Bitcoin isn't doing so well in reflecting the value of production.

Harry Potter thoughts and feelings too.
