By what authority does any man have the right to command another what they should or shouldn’t do? Even for everyday actions that don’t seem very consequential. Practically, it makes interactions more pleasant. Big picture, it chips away at the mass hypnosis of authoritarianism. And I take it further, I avoid using “should” even to the self.
