which one do you recommend? i tried mullvad paid with btc, but found it slow and got blocked more. proton seems to work better.
I use Proton, but it's free so we're the product, I hear all Proton vpn traffic goes through a centralised service, so it's technically not fully private.....apparently
they have a paid tier. it's supposed to be faster.
Just ai'd it, apparently Proton uses cloudflare to route vpn traffic in circumstances where their own servers are unavailable, so ultimately as calle said. Mullvad is the way

Tailscale all the things, with Mullvad exit nodes.
I'd say about 1/4 of the sites I use block it. Some of these sites are for work / business.
This is why NWC or LNC is cool when you want to reach your distant LN node compared to Tailscale or Orbot. No need to turn off your working VPN.
