I feel this. Theoretically I live in one of the sunniest cities in Canada.

I ran into a bunch of Albertans(?) at a gold & silver shop today, talking about how badly they want out. Funny how far that's resonating. Just wanted to mention that, because, how fun! A true Canadian uprising 🚀😅
It's usually brown and crunchy here by now. Very green still 👀 Farmers will be pissed for harvest if it doesn't slow down.

I am without a lawnmower this year & my yard is starting to look like a mini jungle 😂
My indignant ass went & bought a push mower when mine broke, thinking it would be a "normal" summer. I mowed once before the growth outpaced my ability to push and its capacity to cut... which is way harder than I had anticipated actually 😅
Albertans have far more in common with people in Montana, Wyoming and North Dakota than anywhere east of Regina.
So it seems. I'd read & heard things about it, including your takes. It hits different it's some random people standing right there.
Shared history and culture. Obviously some variance but this land has shaped us.

Yeah... it's probably undue worry, but I see people here being wooed away by other opportunities. My community is aging out. Most of the people who have moved in have either moved out or they live here because they don't want to talk to anybody. It's probably a local issue but I still worry lol
