As I said satoshi added the blocksize limit in 2010. I have not been lied to I have read the code.

If you want to "stick to the original design" you can run original code drop from jan 2010 if you want, but you might want to do something about that inflation bug... it's a doozie.

blocksize in bitcoin WAS raised, substantially, since the 1mb limit was introduced. Being a bcash person you are probably not familiar with the technical details of segwit, but you should probably study it.

As for lightning being a "failure" that really weird since I use it quite often as a payment system. So whatever failure you're referring to, I haven't seen it. In fact I used lightning less than an hour ago to buy some fruit at a street vendor.

The vendor didn't take bcash, not that I have any. But they took lightning.
