It's crazy how high-trust of a society Japan is. People literally just leave their bags on the street when they go into places, confident nobody will steal them -- and nobody does!

A TV crew came filming how people steal stuff in different cities. They would set up a nice bike and time how long it takes for someone to steal it. When they came to my city, they did the same thing, but before they managed to turn on the cameras, the bike was gone...
