Why are you doing this?
Loose the weight I’ve put on over the last year - gained 15kgs and not liking the reflection - don’t have time for gyms etc , something I can do in hotel rooms
Pushups don’t really help you lose weight. It’s mostly calorie restriction that does this. Too many pushups without sufficient rest can actually degrade muscle mass and put your body in a state of stress where it actually slows down metabolism and keeps fat.

I think it is more the calorie deficit. If you move more, you can eat more and still lose wait.
For years I moved a lot around the house and garden and was trim. New life & new job on the road had had me drinking and eating to much and not moving like I used too. First steps are slowing down the beer and food and ‘for me ‘ body weight exercise helps
This is a common misconception. Moving more doesn’t mean you can eat more calories. Your body has a base rate of calories it burns per day and if it engages in more physical activity, it’ll find different ways to become more efficient at saving calories. Like using less energy for the brain or making you too tired to work. So people end up not making any changes. They’ve done studies on hunter gather tribes in Africa and found that they burn the same amount of calories per day as modern western people. We just eat more calories because our food is so unhealthy that we never feel satiated.
Get after it. I started my 100 p/u challenge last Feb. took till May to make it to 100 straight. Now I just know out 2x35 then 1x30.
