Defo a thing I find annoying, I have to travel a fair way before I can get decent night sky.
I feel it. I missed both of the recent aurora borealis displays because of this.
Salt Lake City has a big island in the middle of the Great Salt Lake. That's a dark sky area.
You got a car? Go for a night ride and stop in a random field... you luckier than i am, I dont have a car. I do get to see some shooting star and dim auroras but not all the crazy things we see on the internet. I still enjoy it
