Amy small business owners on #nostr not accepting #bitcoin? And why haven't you tried zaprite? #askNostr

(Unpaid shill and geunuine question)

I think it's compelling for small businesses to consider a Strike/Zaprite combo.

Knowing almost nothing about the product other than a quick browse on the webpage, I'd say 42,300 sats per month equals 42,300 pretty good reasons. 😉 There are some months that a very small or startup business may not even get that much in sales! Someone selling stickers for 1000 sats a piece? Or what only selling an occasional piece of artwork? There are a lot of usecases that a monthly sub just won't work.

Seems like a decent product, but really running nostr:npub155m2k8ml8sqn8w4dhh689vdv0t2twa8dgvkpnzfggxf4wfughjsq2cdcvg is so easy, why not go fully self-sovereign route? No processing fees, no subscription fees and when your product takes off and you're pulling in 5M sats a month then you can zap the devs 69,000 sats/mo. 🤙

People outside the US don't have strike. Sadface

There are several backend option for zaprite, the interface is really awesome and I've recommended them to a few companies. Sessions has a good video on it too.

We use it to receive donations at our nonprofit. Works great for us.

Agree. We don’t have to be puritans that’s it’s BTCPay or nothing. Can use Bitcoin on easy mode and that’s still strictly better than pure fiat banking nonsense.

BTCPay + Strike is free to use. Zaprite has a fee. The nonprofits I work with use BTCPay. We only accept #bitcoin.

But Zaprite is great if you're accepting fiat.
