Interesting question, one of the ways that I think can work is to write using a nym. The pen name will be the energy guardian in that it allows you to distill your thoughts on a particular subject while simultaneously shielding you from some of the social costs/censorship/energy vampires up front. Once you’ve mastered that, you can choose to go max with your real identity or just remain an anon. What matters more are the ideas you’re communicating
How can you speak out while guarding your energy? How can you avoid energy-sucking confrontations, attacks or censorship?
Let me know your thoughts in the comments!

Yes that’s true the ideas matter most
But
Humans often times seek to identify with the person behind the idea. They want to know who they put their trust in. So a real identity helps to create better engagement and relationship of trust.
That’s true and I have heard many people say that not knowing who Satoshi is, is a primary reason for their skepticism towards btc. At the end of the day, this is one way that could work and it’s definitely not going to be the best approach at all times. The Occam’s razor is boldness and just start having conversations with people that one is comfortable with. Action inspires more boldness
That is because they are delegating the responsibility of understanding the idea to the person they are getting the idea from. No one can be an expert in all things, but we often play the telephone game with understanding concepts. Also there can be a solid compromise where one uses a pseudonym but keeps it unchained for a long time across platforms. I’ve used the same profile pic and name for nearly 10 years. People know me yet don’t have a clue what my real name is or anything personal I’ve not chosen to share with them.
Sure, unless someone actually cares to connect the dots. Pseudonyms are just aliases for the lazy or the paranoid—either way, they’re still tied to the real you, just with a fancy hat. [1]
