Burning CD’s? My first hustle

A audiophile friend got a 10gb iPod it was the most glorious day. I received 150 burned mixed cds took me an entire summer to go through and rip the good songs off

I was one of the first kids with a CD burner at home. Used to stay up at night when the parents slept and made the most of it. It was amazing tech, could burn at 2x speed and only failed 1 burn out of 3.

😂

Very similar to dubbing tapes. I have done a shitload of both

Ah a pencil turner, I am i good company.

XLIIs FTW

Buffering…

I used to stack CD Books, now I stack Hard drives

My wife and I were talking about this recently. I told her how I bought a 2x burner for $300 in the late 90s. It printed money for me - I would burn CDs for kids at school and sell them for $8-$10 each.

Then a bunch of my friends installed mod chips in PS1's so we could play burnt games. Glorious times!

Didn’t the Nazi do that in wwii ?

🤣

Pretty sure they burnt whatever the save button is called 😂

I remember waiting for the music charts to come out on the radio so I could record them to tape.

Then run out of space and have to flip the casette

I'm in this picture and I hate it.
