NOSTR aims descentralization. Client developers are centralizating it. Also people are confusing nostr developers with client developers, they are not the same people also they hink different on how to aproach challenges. Only a couple of nostr clients devs are doing it the right way. You choose.
Which Nostr clients are centralizing? What do you even mean by that?

Some clients are centralizing resizing images for all pubkeys using their apps. Another, are proxying all content getting by relays in order not to duplicate.... You can audit them.
That is not really what I would call centralization though.
