The feed is almost immediately used to scroll down so it necessarily disappears under any use. I totally agree the search function should all be consolidated with maybe a simple "•••" button in that tab to change the filter to "accounts / hashtags / notes" or whatever if you want to narrow it down. Thanks for pointing that out. I legit might not have seen that for months. My motion memory to open and scroll is way too built in, lol.
