Why do people self sabotage?
Discussion
Fear of the unknown. In other words, a lack of faith/trust; the antidote to fear.
Unresolved childhood trauma. They're playing a game and trying to end the story to regain control, but the story always ends in loss of control because the thing they don't want to see is like death. Anything but that. See the fear. Live in it. Then you will know yourself.
Atypical answer incoming: being a seer I have removed myself from certain intimate relationships after having visions. If and then types of paths...
Self-sabotage perceived to one eventually proved to save many lives. Maybe someone else would have invented the things they did eventually ... seeing the alternates in a vision ... and later proven true gives me peace.
Or I'm just justifying my own ego. Who is to say what is right or wrong? 🤣🙏💜
To recreate emotionally triggering situations until they realize the origin of the issue.
Truth
I believe that it is done to create some false sense of control of their lives. By self sabotaging when the inevitable bad thing ends up happening they can say, "See, I knew something bad was going to happen!" It's like predicting a falure that they caused giving them some sense of control. This also gives them an false "excuse" to not try to better themselves or try to succeed because, "Bad things are always happening to me so why even try?" Therefore also always making them the victim. It's deep rooted insecurity really.
yes, I think so many are afraid of good things, because it can be taken away so easily
Comfort, fear of success, fear of the truth.
