What happened to them, Roya?
different tragedies
Sounds bad. I suspect different kinds of drugs.
not at all actually.
dumbass assumption
You are young. I assume your friends were young.
Young people don't have tragedies in general. But when they have it's generally some car accident, generally related to alcohol consumption or other bad drugs.
It's a logical assumption.
not really, it may be logical, but it’s not considerate to say that to someone. there’s a time and place to be logical.
Even if "drugs" are listed as the cause of death on a death certificate, it's often a second order effect.
My friend was a veteran. He served in both the Marine Corps and the Army. He was shipped to Afganistan and Iraq.
He drank heavily and smoked a little weed every now and then, but this was a second order effect.
The bombs didn't kill him.
The bullets didn't kill him.
The booze may have been the kill shot, but he died for his government.
Statism's Kool-Aid seems to be the most dangerous drug of all.
Work on what you guys would have admired together
Sorry for your loss. One of my friends from high school died a couple days ago. It sucks.
