You lose the sense of community when there's a huge group of people. A couple of people are assholes and it perpetuates the feeling that everyone is.
I live somewhere relatively rural and noticed a huge change in people's attitudes to me when I moved there compared to even a large town.
We aren’t meant to live in them. By design they confine us to unnatural standards and force us into psychological turmoil.

I think people in cities have become more unhappier in the last ten years. At least where I live
Its a numbers game for sure. Small villages in UK are pleasant places with community spirit. Cities above 100k not so much.
A real issue here in California. Everyone is a selfish 💩
