Hey, #android users!

Do you have a recommendation for a non-crappy ringtone app?

Zedge is ubiquitous but also really invasive.

Thank you. ❤️

I was thinking about this the other day. I remember using ringtone apps like zedge back in 2010 but completely lost interest in ringtone after switching to an iPhone for business in 2014. Is it common for people to have custom ringtones these days? my wife and I both use the stock ringers.

I prefer custom notification sounds for many apps. I don't need to check my phone for most notifications, but I know when I should if I get something from the simplex or signal.

yeah that makes sense. I got an android thy other day and it makes the same notif sound for everything lol

Isn't that annoying? Lol!

Yes lol

Just make your own with audio editing software on a computer and transfer to the phones internal storage, you can make any wav or mp3 a ringtone in android.

I am too lazy for that.

Seriously. 😅

I remember on an LG smartphone, the ringtone was generated based on the incoming call number. It was convenient because it allowed me to easily remember the melodies of those who call me frequently and distinguish them from new numbers.

That is a cool feature.
