What do you think will happen and where will it happen?
I’m anticipating exorbitant inflationary pressure and increasing job loss in this transitioning economy (in Canada and the states at least)
I believe the establishment will use this to their advantage to usher in UBI (in Canada for sure) backed/controlled through CBDC’s.
The more people are prepared, the less likely they are to be trapped by the technocracy. There will be growing counter economics through alternative exchange mechanisms I’m sure.
This is my speculation of course but based on watching the social conditioning over the past decade and the insane debt we are incurring; it seems we are headed this way in Canada.
I have Bitcoin and my passport was recently renewed. I am learning Spanish and considering moving to El Salvador. Hopefully it doesn't all collapse too fast and hard, that would suck for everyone.
I looked into what it would take to move to El Salvador as well. If I was a tech person that would be a no brainer place to thrive!
I struggle with wanting to move because we live really free here in spite of government through self-sufficiency. I’ll never find another paradise like this.

Yeah I'm not in tech, so my income would suffer if I moved. This plan is a bit dependant on Bitcoin going to in value quite a bit in the next 10 years so I don't have to worry about money much anymore. Although if that happens El Salvador might start to have livable wages anyway 😂
I'm single with no kids, so I have a lot of flexibility. Might as well take advantage of it by fucking off to a place that I think has a bright future.
If I was without dependents I’d definitely have a hard time staying off a plane. 😎
