I’ve been making a lot of large deals lately, wherein I was at the mercy of the other party due to circumstances. It’s been really nice to trust people and have them follow through on their word. It’s been reassuring, to say the least.
I don’t want to live in a trustless world. It would be a dark and lonely place.
So I guess I’m in the trust, until you give a me reason not to trust you, with certain safeguards in place so that I don’t get burned too bad….
Whatever you have going on, I hope it continues to work out.
A trustless world would be pretty bleak. Paranoia drives so much unnecessary fear anymore. I feel sad for kids who can't walk to the park over something that will likely never happen, y'know?
So far so good, but there’s a big one coming up and I don’t trust the other party at all. But, it won’t be the end of the world if it goes awry. We will be okay.
I hear ya about the park. Raising formidable, dangerous, children has helped to set my mind at ease.
