Nope, I have my own setup with a temp/humidity sensor, PH levels etc. on board an Arduino Uno. I put an LCD on it to get display results .

I suppose you could look into some sort of ESP32 moduled device, and you can wire your own sensors to it?

Unless your looking for an out of the box? Maybe DFRobot has something too.

We usually fabricate from the low level rather than off the shelf IOT

Yeah, basically I am trying to do my home assistant setup as normie as possible because I'm trying to do it all on start9 once I package it up. For farm automation stuff, I'm down to get more creative, but I am seeing start9 paired with HA as a big bootstrap for sovereign home monitoring, alerting, and action setups.

Yeah you can dockerize HA to run on any Linux OS.

Never used start9 specifically but I'm assuming it's similar to umbrel?

I tinkered around for a bit and used GPT to help get some widgets set up. Pretty robust if you consider how much can actually be intergrated with HA

Start9 is like a more capable version of umbrel. But I mean more like a want to have my sensor setup be more normie, I can and have programmed arduino stuff, but for this initial stuff I'm trying to have straight ots stuff.
