too many issues of notes going through for me
when the messaging becomes as reliable as on damus, i'll think about it

Keychat doesn’t have notes. Are we talking about the same app?

Weird. Messages go through instantly for me.
Same. Never had a problem, most reliable messaging experience on nostr by a long long way
Also, it’s the only app using the signal protocol afaik

multiple times i've messaged somebody using keychat, only for me to message them again using Damus asking whether they received my initial message, and the answer's been no
so yeah

yup + it's bothersome to not have the pfp and name pulled
early stages tho, so patience required on my behalf
I use the Keychat relay which costs 1 sat per message. Not sure if that increases reliability.
I haven’t had any problems and IME it’s faster than Damus DMs. I only use Keychat for alt accounts. I don’t think Keychat uses pfps from Nostr profiles. It has custom pfps.
