Very different goals. Set in obtainium to check-only if you prefer F-Droid's (delayed) methodical approach.

Its only delayed for some apps. There are apps that get updates faster from F-Droid. There are also apps that are available on F-Droid but cant be added to Obtainium.

That's true. But I've noticed that not all apps publish all versions on F-Droid. Source-repo-releases often provide more (frequent) (beta-)releases. So it becomes a choice between staying on top or going with the more established flow. (Note: this is stated without negative connotation.)
