When I was a kid I was obsessed with the #Apollo program. To this day I believe Neil Armstrong is one of the greatest heroes of all time.

Today I am baffled by how little the general public is interested in the unimaginable achievement of the human #mind that enables us to catch the equivalent of a tall building falling to earth from out of #space.

I can’t help but think that this is related to #SpaceX not being a government agency… but maybe it is because people are not interested in #achievements anymore.

May I never lose my genuine #love for #merit, #excellence and #achievements of others or myself.

I think there’s a difference between the achievement of actually landing a man on the moon and at best, when lucky, grabbing an empty stage 1 booster with chopsticks on earth? Why? Don’t care…

Achievements are different in their very nature I guess. Anyhow I think directionally societies are better off if they admire and value achievements more versus doing so less.
