We don't have to be utopians. Bitcoin and nostr (THE NOSTRs? I forget where we landed on that) address some serious problems, but there will always be more problems to address.

My point is that some are under the impression that bitcoin and nostr fix the problems caused by the absence of religion and God in people’s lives

The whole bitcoin will lower the time preference of people so there won’t be more OnlyFans or xyz degenerate behavior nonsense orange pillers parrot

I agree with that, I think. I don't think Bitcoin makes any of that stuff worse. I can see the argument that nostr could increase porn related problems, although I think porn is going to be almost entirely AI generated pretty soon.
